About Us

Jackson Community Federal Credit Union formed through a merger of Westwood Community Federal Credit Union and Midwest United Federal Credit Union in July of 2007.  Westwood also went through a merger in 2006 with Catholic Community Federal Credit Union.  They were originally charted in 1951 to serve the Hayes Industry employees.  Midwest United Federal Credit Union was formed in 1987 from a merger of three smaller credit unions: Kent-Moore Employees Federal Credit Union, Hancock Employees Federal Credit Union and Jackson County Printing and Publishing Employees Credit Union.  Over the years the credit unions have expanded their field of membership to a community charter.  Today Jackson Community Federal Credit Union can serve any family member of an existing member as well as any person, who lives, works, worship or goes to school in Jackson County.
